My wife and I recently went to her father’s retirement dinner (he was the Fire Chief for Big Bear Lake, CA) and this is his last ride in the fire truck on its way to the dinner gathering.

I cant believe that my parents are both retired now. It was such an amazing night. There were so many people that spoke so highly of my father. I don’t think I ever realized how much he really did for our hometown.
